About This Independent Guide
This website documents Transport Tycoon Deluxe on Windows PC for readers researching installation, the original game, OpenTTD, and practical network strategy. It is not the official site of the original publisher, Chris Sawyer, 31X or Origin8.
How the site was prepared
Our material is based on historical game documentation and accessible developer-maintained references. We distinguish the 1995 PC title from the separate mobile game whose website provided the visual archive. An editorial review does not imply that every compatibility method or downloadable installer has been tested.
Corrections and transparency
Descriptions are intended to be factual, clear and practical. Where a game is sold commercially, an open-source alternative is not labeled as the original. Our testing page explains which checks were run on the static website itself and which game-download behaviors remain unverified.
